Benihana - Giveaway

Benihana is going to kick off our school and work lunch week. Sometimes you just need to get away and go out for lunch. Benihana has wonderful food. Benihana restaurants are traditional Japanese steak houses that feature the Japanese cooking method known as "teppanyaki." Your meal is prepared fresh and served by a performing chef using fresh meats, seafood and garden fresh vegetables.
Benihana has a children’s and a lunch menu and has several locations around the country. In order to understand some of the terms on the Benihana menu, explore their website. They also have a menu listing all of Benihana’s various offerings and a locator, to help you get to the nearest one.
Benihana is giving us a 50 dollar gift card for one of our readers to enjoy lunch (or dinner).

Absolutely love BeniHana’s. We go there for our anniversary every year. I would get the usual, Filet Mignon, the Hibachi scallops and why sushi of course. But you must also try the calamari tempura. It is to die for so add that to your list when you go.

Wow; what a very generous giveaway. My eldest son rants and raves over this restaurant and I’ve yet to get there!
Luckily for me, there’s one nearby in Harrisburg, PA. Should I win, I would choose the Seafood Diablo. Mr. Man would choose Filet Mignon and young son would choose that Sushi Combo , I think.
Then, after a lovely dining experience with ta die for atmosphere, we would surely have to feast on desert!
Here’s hoping a culinary splash comes our way!

Benihana is my absolute favorite restaurant. I love how they cook right in front of you. The chef’s do and say silly things to make everybody laugh. I love the way a lot of people are at one table to interact. My birthday was three days ago. Who better to give this to than me?

I LOVE Benihanas, but have never been there for lunch - so I would have to try the Lunch Boat Special A and Lunch Boat Special B, but, if I wasn’t limited to the lunch menu I would have to have the Hibachi Chateaubriand or the Scallops.

I love Benihana’s. I’ve lunched there many times, and had dinner there on a number of occasions. The 3 items I would order (and have ordered) would be: Chef’s Choice (the best!), Benihana Delight, or the Hibachi steak.
Years ago I got the recipes for the sauces for vegetables and seafood, the one for beef, and the ginger salad dressing. I’ve made them at home, and while they are good, they just don’t taste the same as they do at the restaurant. My 8 year-old daughter loves Benihana and can’t wait to go back again for her birthday in October.

Seriously, three people need to go together. One gets the Hibachi chicken because the lemon and sesame seeds taste so good. One gets the shrimp because you can never have too much shrimp even if it was the appetizer, and one gets the filet mignon with mushrooms (they put garlic and lemon on them which I always do at home now) AND THEN YOU SHARE LIKE LADIES.

I can make an entire meal on just sushi. I love the Rainbow Roll, the Shrimp Lover’s Roll and the Shrimp Crunchy Roll. But I also love the Seafood Diablo and Hibachi Chicken.

I have the most romantic memory of eating at Benihana’s in Sacramento with my previous boyfriend, a former commander of a U.S. Airforce base. We were sitting around the teppanyaki grill with a large group of women who were being entertained by the performing chef, when the performer suddenly looked at my boyfriend and said, “You — very lucky man to be sitting here alone with all these nice women.” Suddenly, one of the women spoke up and said, “He’s not the lucky one, she is,” and pointed to me. “He can’t take his eyes off from her.” It was the biggest compliment I’ve ever received. So since then I have had a soft spot in my heart for Benihana’s.
I love their teppanyaki grill presentations, whether they are beef, chicken, or seafood. The Hibachi Scallops — marvelous. And California rolls are right next to heaven.
