Celebrate!!! Let’s party with Tortuga Rum!!!

Today, is the 21st anniversary of the day I married my husband. We met when we were just starting college. We dated for a long time(6 years), and then finally were married in Galbreath Chapel on Ohio University campus in Athens, Ohio. (Of course this makes us really old now if you are doing the math.)
Last night, we started our celebration early with a couple of small Tortuga Rum cakes. One was the Golden Original with walnuts and the other was a Key Lime Rum Cake. The rum flavor is good and strong. I love Rum - it was one of my favorite drinks even way back in college. The Key Lime had a mild fresh tartness to it as well as a good rum taste. The cakes are dense, moist, sweet and yummy rummy.

The rum cakes are the number one export of the Cayman Islands and have been named 2008 “Best Cruise Souvenir” by Porthole Cruise magazine for the fourth consecutive year. The Tortuga Rum cakes are baked fresh daily and hand glazed with oak barrel aged Tortuga rum. Congratulations on 21 years of marriage!! That is such an accomplishment in this day and age. I would choose to give you the Cake Club Gold Membership so that you could enjoy your gift each month for a whole year with a new cake in the mail. These rum cakes sound soooo yummy! Rum always reminds me of my honeymoon in Jamaica almost 10 years ago :).

My practical side wins out everytime. I chose for you 2 Tortuga Mugs, the case of Royal Blue Mountain Coffee and the Assortment of 16 oz rum cakes. If it were me, I would want to gifted with the CAKE CLUB “GOLD” Membership- 12 Months. That way you could celebrate 12 times a year, rather then the normal once. First I would like to say Congratulations to you both!!!
