Espresso Cocktails for National Coffee Day

Here are a couple of recipes from Krups – this isn’t a review for Krups as I’ve never tried their product, but I’m in a coffee mood and it’s National Coffee Day. It’s too late for that morning cup, so I’ve decided to share some espresso cocktails for your evening relaxation enjoyment.
Vanilla Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
1 ounces of fresh brewed espresso
2 ounces vanilla flavored vodka
½ ounce of Bailey’s
1 ounce cream de cacao
3-4 espresso beans for garnish (optional)
Preparation:
Brew the espresso according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with a few espresso beans for garnish (optional). Enjoy!
Iced Mocha Latte:
Ingredients:
2 ounces of fresh brewed espresso
4 ounces of skim milk
2-3 tablespoons of light chocolate syrup
2 ounces of Kahlúa
Preparation:
Brew the espresso according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Fill a tall glass with ice and pour chocolate syrup, milk, Kahlúa, and espresso over the ice in that order. Stir well to combine. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or more chocolate syrup if desired. Enjoy!
