- Are you a Sandwich Master? Mezzetta is having a recipe contest. What do you win? $25,000.00 and a trip to Napa Valley. The contest ends September 7th, so get those thinking caps on. Sandwiches will be judged on the following criteria: Creative Use of Ingredients, Taste, Ease of Preparation and Visual Appeal; and you must use at least two Mezzetta products in your recipe. Read all the contest rules here. They will be selecting a finalist from each of the three categories: Hot Sandwich, Cold Sandwich and Vegetarian Sandwich. One of those finalists will be crowned the grand prize winner and awarded $25,000 and a trip to Napa Valley. The two runners-up will both receive $1000 prize!
- Can you come up with a great french cheese platter? Il de France wants to see a picture of it. The contest has been extended until September 10th, with the winner receiving $500.00, this says to me that you have a nice chance of winning. Send your entries to contest@ildefrancecheese.com or post it on your blog, MySpace, Face-book or Flickr account and send them the link. Please include your full name and contact information.
- Emily Hobbs won Regal’s Tilapia "FISHING FOR FRUGAL RECIPES" CONTEST and $5000.00 She came up with a fantastic under 15.00 Tilapia Tostados recipe.
- I won two contests recently – Whoa Baby!
- The Amazing Grass Giveaway - at Simply Savor – a simple recipe for healthy living. Kristen introduces you to her healthy ideas for living and eating. She has great pictures of lovely food and friends. I love her blog. I was away for my uncle’s funeral, so it took me a week to get back to her, I’m grateful she waited for my response. I tried out one of the bars and it was delicious but I haven’t tried the powder yet.
-Campbell’s Soup MMMM Good Giveaway – at Eating Out Loud – I like Allen’s approach to ordinary food – that tastes really delicious. My husband was thrilled with the Campbell’s soup. He’s a soup hoarder and eater and is glad to have some more to add to the stash especially because it’s lower in sodium.
