Homemade tomato sandwiches are the best! We just got back from vacation, and the first thing I did was check the tomatoes. I had one tiny red one, and the rest are still green, but hopefully in the next week or so….

I just had to come back to say that ever since you posted this I have had a tomato sandwich every day for lunch. LOL It might sound weird but I start with large curd cottage cheese on the bottom, some spinach, tomato slices and 1 laughing cow cheese. Oh my gosh, it’s been so good, I can’t seem to stop.

PS. Now when can I come for a visit to grab me some yummy home grown tomatoes? ha ha

I lvoe tomato sandwiches..and cucumber sandwiches.. and yeah, nothing better than a sun warmed, just picked, never been refrigerated ripe tomato on toast with Hellmans!

These is notting better then home grown tomatoes,…this sandwich is simpel but with great flavours!

Mmm I love fresh tomato sandwiches – and I remember our tomato-y feasts in our backyard. Mom didn’t mind us having those snacks. I now have one grape tomato plants so the 7 year old can snack outside too. It’s his plant and he can have those tomatoes whenever he wants.

Oh my goodness that sandwich looks soooo good! I love tomatoes but I’m sure home grown are better than what we get at the store. Gotta try to make it to the local Farmer’s Market. My mouth is watering!!!
