Labor Day has been for me a day of relaxing with family.  The last hurrah before summer ends - although officially summer doesn’t end for almost another 3 weeks. Yesterday we had family over.  Everyone pitched in a dish or snack, the pool was used, sitting around relaxing and talking were the main events.  Today, I’ll clean up the aftermath but it’s not too bad, my mother in law sneaks into the kitchen and does a little washing up every so often.  I really like gatherings where the main event is conversation.  So my wish for you today is good food, good fun, great conversation and great weather.  While it definitely won’t work out for everyone, especially those in the south, I’ll send my good wishes your way even more.
