Since we have a few minutes left to Earth Day, I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite Organic Brands.  O Organics is a quality brand, with a bunch of great tasting foods on it’s roster.  We do try to buy organic and have for a while.  My feeling was that the more people who buy, the more mainstream it will become and the easier it will be to find.

Their snacks are terrific.  I recommend the white cheddar popcorn, great for track meets or while watching any game.  The pretzels too, they have sesame seeds in them, which I love.  My husband is the tortilla chip and salsa guy, and he says both the blue and white tortilla chips are great.  The blue chips also have sesame seed in them.  The chipotle salsa has a smoky chipotle flavoring that is really delicious.

My son’s favorite item is the Italian sodas, orange blueberry or cranberry pomegranate, made with real juice and from Italy.  Great straight, we added wine to it and it was even better that way.

We have a track meet coming up and I’m bringing the Cranberry Nut Trail Mix with Sea Salt and the Organic Almonds.  The Almonds are roasted and lightly salted. The lightly salted almonds rock.  Most nuts are over salted, but these are perfect.

O Organics has 300+ USDA certified organic products in over 50 categories. O started out as a Safeway brand, but has gone mainstream and isn’t proprietary to Safeway anymore. Look around your retail store and see what O Organic products you can find.
