Pillsbury Savorings Flaky Pastry Bites Giveaway – Savoring the Moment
Written by Diana - November 18, 2008 224 Comments
I think this is the perfect time to talk about Pillsbury Savorings. When you go out to pick up the perfect easy party appetizers to go with your holiday dinner, or for a quick bite while you are sipping wine in the evening, or something small for the kids to pop in the toaster oven for a fast treat – this is what you want to look for. Pillsbury Savorings. They’re warm, flaky pastry dough wrapped around tasty fillings and come in three varieties; cheese and spinach, buffalo style chicken and mozzarella and pepperoni. They are easy to prepare (just 20 minutes in the oven or toaster oven ) and are the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine, sparkling grape juice (or sparkling cranberry, MMMM).
Cheese & Spinach – bite-sized pastries stuffed with spinach and a creamy blend of Neufchatel, parmesan and mozzarella cheeses
Mozzarella & Pepperoni – bite-sized pastry squares filled with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni in a flavorful tomato sauce
Buffalo Style Chicken – bite-sized pastries loaded with chicken in a buffalo style sauce
Our favorite, hands down, the cheese and spinach, next came the pepperoni and the buffalo had a spicy buffalo barbeque sauce taste, but we favored the others more. They were all very good. I found them at Meijers who also had a buy two Totino’s pizza bites, get a Savorings free offer. I don’t know if it’s still available though. Pillsbury has a coupon for 1.00 off to make your first bite even more appealing.
Pillsbury is going to give away a Savoring the Moment gift bag which includes:
- a coupon for a free Pillsbury Savorings
- a wine bottle stopper
- wine glass charms
- a bottle opener
- a wine and food guide
- stampable wine tags
- an appetizer plate that also holds your wine glass
We have rules – my rules not as bad as Deb’s.
- In the comments:
- Tell me which Savorings you would like to try the most
- What your preferred drink is to go with the Savorings
- The contest will end Friday, November 21, 2008 at midnight.
- One entry per household.
- US residents only
