I’ve been remiss in my posting duties lately.  Track meets, band concerts, graduation parties, and gatherings have been taking up all of our free time.  Today while we were out shopping for graduation cards, I found something I’ve been searching for, cloth napkins and placemats – on clearance.  My latest green intention was to find decent cloth napkins for every day use.  I didn’t want to use rags, or washcloths or towels, I wanted real cloth napkins.  I found these napkins and placemats on clearance in the grocery store.  No more paper napkins for us, we’re using cloth now. Whooo hooo!

    Great find! I never even thought about using cloth napkins. I have cut back on napkins, paper towels and totally gave up using paper/plastic plates. Oh and we have bags for shopping so no more plastic there unless of course we forget to take the bags in LOL The hardest part for me is the paper towels but my stepson bought me some of those ShamWow cloths that are seen on TV and I LOVE them. They work great and I’m only on the first one but the box came with a ton.

    I’ll have to look for some good deals on cloth napkins.

    That is a good idea. We need some and also new place mats. I actually got some various cloth napkins (one of each kind) the other day – for my food pictures :)

    I started using cloth napkins about a year ago and it’s so easy! I found most of mine on sale when Linens and Things were going out of biz.
