Farmer’s Markets – Not Just Veggies & Fruit.

 Farm Market Bounty Last weekend we went to my sister in law’s farmer’s market – the Ohio Valley Farmer’s Market.  I meant to get there early enough to sample the whole place, but my dear husband didn’t get out of bed early enough – even though I told him when it was going on.  Because it wasn’t local, and we had an almost 3 hour drive, we needed to get on the road early, but instead got out around 9. Darn it. 

My sister in law, of Fine As Frog’s Hair – makes home made soap to sell, and she also sells cut flower arrangements.  She’s been doing this for years, and has a pretty good following.  She told me that because of the economy, things started out slow this year, but are starting to pick up.  She explained that the Fruit and Veggies always have a long line and sell pretty well . This year, my culinary school graduated, chef by profession niece is joining with her own table.  Holly & Todd have call themselves– …
