Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine and Spirits Festival will host a cooking demonstration featuring Paula Deen on Saturday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m. An autograph session will follow the cooking demonstration and will be exclusively available for 50 guests who purchase special VIP tickets. VIP tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. VIP tickets and regular admission tickets will go on sale in December.

MiniMunchers, the ultimate resource for children’s menus in New York City, launched an organic restaurant category today, November 18, 2010. The new category came in response to an organic-conscious mom who contacted the site, frustrated with the lack of information about NYC organic restaurants. At present, MiniMunchers is listing twelve restaurants in this category from their 207 total restaurants. In addition to maintaining the only children’s menu database for Manhattan restaurants, MiniMunchers also rates the “child-friendliness” of City restaurants as well as provides tips for successful NYC dining with kids.
