Father’s Day and other stuff
June 23, 2009 | Written by DianaToday was a busy day. My son went to Track Camp – we were worried about the heat but it’s an indoor track. My daughter has an ear infection. I took her to Urgent Care after work and for the first time ever she filled out her own forms, gave them her own insurance card, and even signed for her own prescriptions. She’s so grown. Then we picked up some precooked meals at Kroger’s and heated them in the microwave. Some nights that’s the way it goes.
Yesterday, I gave my husband a nice new in the box, grill for Father’s Day. Our old one is much smaller and is well, old. We were walking through the store picking up stuff for dinner when I mentioned getting food to barbecue for dinner. My husband groaned and said – oh, that grill is not put together, I’ll have to assemble it. I told him that the kids have offered to put the grill together for you, but I said I wasn’t sure whether you would want it.
