What I’m Digging: Wholly Guacamole 100 Calorie Packs
Written by Deb Ng - April 9, 2008 11 Comments
Normally I’m not a prepackaged guacamole type gal. I like to make my own using fresh ingredients found out the local farmer’s market. Sometimes however. convenience prevails.
I like the Wholly Guacamole line because it’s smooth, creamy, delicious and yes, convenient. I’m digging it even more now because it comes in 100 calorie packs. You heard me right, 100 calorie packs of guacamole.
It’s a great healthy lunch option – take a 100 calorie pack of Wholly Guacamole and a 100 calorie pack of pita or veggie chips to work. Add some carrot sticks or apple slices and there you have a nice, healthy, low cal lunch. My son enjoys the 100 calorie packs for his afternoon snacks too. I don’t always have time to whip up a batch of guac, and these 100 calorie packs are the perfect size for a little guy’s appetite.
The Wholly Guacamole 100 calorie packs can hang out in your fridge for about a month, a lot longer in the freezer. 95% of the product is guacamole and the other five is just good stuff – spice and other natural ingredients. There are no preservatives and no chemicals. Just great guacamole goodness.
It’s no secret I’m a fan of perfectly portioned 100 calorie packs. Now we have perfectly portioned packs of guacamole. I ask you, does snacking get any better than this?
