What I’m Digging: Wholly Guacamole 100 Calorie Packs

Normally I’m not a prepackaged guacamole type gal. I like to make my own using fresh ingredients found out the local farmer’s market. Sometimes however. convenience prevails.
I like the Wholly Guacamole line because it’s smooth, creamy, delicious and yes, convenient. I’m digging it even more now because it comes in 100 calorie packs. You heard me right, 100 calorie packs of guacamole.
It’s a great healthy lunch option – take a 100 calorie pack of Wholly Guacamole and a 100 calorie pack of pita or veggie chips to work. Add some carrot sticks or apple slices and there you have a nice, healthy, low cal lunch. My son enjoys the 100 calorie packs for his afternoon snacks too. I don’t always have time to whip up a batch of guac, and these 100 calorie packs are the perfect size for a little guy’s appetite.
The Wholly Guacamole 100 calorie packs can hang out in your fridge for about a month, a lot longer in the freezer. 95% of the product is guacamole and the other five is just good stuff – spice and other natural ingredients. There are no preservatives and no chemicals. Just great guacamole goodness.
It’s no secret I’m a fan of perfectly portioned 100 calorie packs. Now we have perfectly portioned packs of guacamole. I ask you, does snacking get any better than this?

Love Wholly Guacamole! My favorite lunch consists of Mission corn tortillas, microwaved with a thin slice of baby swiss, a schmear of Wholly Guac and a slice of turkey breast. Yum!
Impressive! I’m a sucker for anything all natural. I’m surprised at how much is in the 100 calorie pack. Every time I’ve read up on avacado they talk about all of the fat and calories. The articles scared me off. But actually seeing how much you get for 100 calories? I’m there!
Wholly Guacomole is definitely yummy. I haven’t tried the 100-calorie packs yet; I’m afraid I might just end up eating 3 packs. I might stick with the big packs. Anyway, Wholly Guacomole makes a great substitute for mayonaise in sandwiches. Especially with turkey, bacon, fresh tomatoes, good sourdough bread, . . .
@Robert – You’re making me want a sandwich – turkey, guacamole and tomato sounds divine.
Where have you bought them from. I live in the LA area of CA, and I haven’t been able to find them… Any suggestions?
Cyd,
Deb says look in the refrigerated section, near the tofu. That’s where she finds it.
Also, here’s a link to a product finder in the wholly guacamole website. They didn’t spell it totally out, so it might have been difficult to find. http://www.whollyguac.com/store_finder I didn’t know your zip, so I couldn’t figure out what stores to point you to.

Ooh gosh i just wrote a long comment and as soon as i hit reply it came up blank! Please please tell me it worked right? I do not want to write it again if i dont have to! Either the blog bugged out or i am an idiot, the second option doesnt surprise me lol.
Hi just figured i would let you know that i also had a issue with your blog coming up frozen also. Must be gremlins in the system.
I saw a whole bunch of 100 calorie books over at amazons kindle store. Maybe you would like to see some of those… Just a thought.
