1. I love cookbooks and read them for fun.
2. I need some new ideas for holiday cookies. Every year I bake and mail cookies to our far-flung family and I think they’re getting tired of the same old chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies.
3. The Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe you tried sounds delicious and if that’s a typical sample I know I will love the rest.

I would find the recipes that use almond extract and report back if the flavor is too almond-y
