 Dunkin Donuts Coffee Basket

Tis the season to give and Dunkin Donuts Coffee has a great gift for five lucky Cookerati readers. A Dunkin Donuts coffee gift basket featuring several varieties of Dunkin Donuts coffee and a mug to enjoy it all with. Mmm mmm. Wish I could win.

Tell us how we win Deb…

Ha! You think I’m going to make it easy for you? If you read any of my contest post you know I nothing irks me more than people who enter contests without reading the instructions. The least we can do is offer some love to our generous sponsors. Thus, if you only post “thanks”, “enter me” “great contest” or you copy someone else’s answer verbatim consider yourself disqualified.

We get it, Deb. You’re mean.

Yes. Yes I am. My son will back me up on that one. In any event, if you want to win one of these puppies, you have to do the following:

  1. Visit the Dunkin Donuts website.
  2. Choose your three favorite varieties
  3. Tell us what you would put in a gift basket to your friends, in addition to Dunkin Donuts coffee.

See? I may be mean, but I’m easy.

The contest ends Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. EST.

Can’t wait to see your gift basket ideas!

My 3 favorite varieties are Dunkin’ Dark, Hazelnut, and Dunkin’ Decaf. In a gift basket I would also add some yummy biscotti, a couple of ‘fun” coffee mugs, a mug warmer, and some chocolate (because NO gift basket is complete without it)!!

OK …. NOW can I say thank you for a great giveaway?!

Seriously, thanks for a generous giveaway!!

Jamie on December 2, 2008 at 4:23 am

I chose original blend, cinnamon spice, and hazelnut. It wasn’t easy to narrow it to 3. I would include in a gift basket some biscotti and assorted cookies, 2 mugs, 2 nice cloth napkins and a nice plate to serve the cookies on.
    thanks for the contest.

Sheree Warner on December 2, 2008 at 4:31 am

My 3 favorite flavors are Original Blend, French Vanilla and Hazelnut, not neccesarally in that order. In my gift basket I would put a couple of the nifty Breast Cancer Coffee Cups, an assortment of muffins and cookies. A good suspensful book to read under a warm comforter, and a couple of baked apple pie scented candles to add the right atmosphere.

Carol on December 2, 2008 at 4:43 am

Hi. I am choosing 3 varieties of coffees and doughnuts: for doughnuts I choose Blueberry Cake, Boston Creme, Chocolate Glazed. For the coffees I choose the original which is always fabulous, Hazelnut, and Decaf for my sister who complains about caffeine. In the basket, I would also add a lottery ticket and a nice note! This giveaway has made me hungry for doughtnuts and coffee.

Red on December 2, 2008 at 5:02 am

My three favorites would be Hazelnut, French Vanilla and Original Blend. I would include brownies and cookies, a little bit of all the different types. Plus a few biscotti for dipping, mmm. I would line it with a pretty towel and some pretty cloth napkins, because that’s what I need.

    Susan C on December 2, 2008 at 5:27 am

If you mean three favorite flavors of Dunkin’ Donuts coffee then those would be: French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and the new Dunkin Dark! Yum!

If I am creating a gift basket with delicious Dunkin’ Donuts coffe, I would have to include chocolate. Chocolate Almond Biscotti, Chocolate covered Hazelnuts, and dark chocolate truffles….and I would add a coupon for Dunkin’ Donuts, of course!

Thank you for a scrumptious giveaway! :-)

Delilah Vela on December 2, 2008 at 5:48 am

Kathy on December 2, 2008 at 6:02 am

How funny you should be doing this. I’m making a DD gift basket for a family member for Christmas. Ok, first things first, my favorite flavors are the Original, Dunkin Dark, and French Vanilla. As for what I’d put in the basket, I’d put 2 nice coffee mugs (maybe with a design to reflect the recipients personality, or something they like), I’d put some biscotti or fancy cookies, and some chocolates. Since the person I am making one for likes a little flavor, I’m adding a bottle of flavored syrup for them to add to the coffee. And because her husband likes plain coffee with cream, I’m putting some non-refrigerated coffee cream in the basket too. I may add a Dunkin Donuts gift card so they can buy more coffee when they run out.

    Thanks for the contest!

    Nadine L on December 2, 2008 at 6:08 am

I would add a C.D. of some of the gift recipients favorite music adding in some new tunes for them to hear (the modern day mix tape). Of course my homemade Fresh Ground Nutmeg Muffins, maybe a trashy romance novel, and it wouldn’t be complete without chocolate(!), a rich bar of a moderately expensive fancy import I know they would never buy for themselves. I love adding a card I’ve made especially for them using silly up-cycled materials.

I can think of so many ways to make baskets with this coffee, but my brain is going too fast for my fingers, and I do not want to bore you or write of book here on my gift baskets I would make. I’d want my coffee cup to say something witty and cutting edge like yours truly..I’m with Stupid or Don’t ask me *#*^! Of course, I’d want a LARGE selection of donuts. Mine would be gooey and non caloric. Anyway, If I won I’d be ever so grateful. Thank You.

My sister and I do holiday baking together so I might include some cookies or biscotti that we made.
Also I might find a fun coffee mug or flavored spoons to add. No basket is complete without chocolate – so I would add a small box of chocolate truffles. Thanks!

Ooh! “Original Blend”, “New! Dunkin’ Dark”, and probably “French Vanilla” would top my list! And in a reasonably righteous gift basket from DD, I’d start with a couple of French Crullers (Hubby’s favorite) and a couple of “cake”-style donuts (for some serious dunkin’). A couple of “Scrabble dictionary” mugs, some chocolate-covered donuts (they don’t carry chocolate-covered coffee beans, do they?), and maybe a very-tiny lap-sized table cloth (just for grins) — don’t want to get too extravagant, and get distracted from focusing on the COFFEE! Thx!!

Darcy on December 5, 2008 at 2:36 pm

I choose Cinnamon Spice, Original Blend, and French Vanilla. What I would include ina gift basket would definitely depend on who I am giving it to. I might include something homemade (jam, cookies, muffins, fudge), maybe a Christmas ornament or two (if it was for a Christmas gift), maybe a small houseplant or a CD of music the recipient might like. Maybe a bottle of Bailey’s!

Thank you very much for the giveaway!

For a gift basket, I’d select a a basket with plates and silverware that could later be used for picnics. In the basket, I’d add some Dunkin’ Decaf coffee, plus a coffee mug set of two big coffee mugs, chocolate biscotti and/or shortbread cookies, a coaster set and some nice cloth napkins.

For me, I would request Dunkin Donuts Coffee in Original Blend in whole bean, French Vanilla and Dunkin Decaf. For the coffee gift basket, add chocolate almond biscotti, two substantial coffee mugs, non-dairy creamer without whey in it (since whey makes people pass gas, among other things, and we don’t want that), sugar and some nice coffee stirrers.
