Win A "Pace Game Day Party Pack" For Your Superbowl Party

Pace Big Game Day Party Pack

Pace is so good to Cookerati Readers – we love their products and their giveaways. Pace is giving away a “Pace Game Day Party Pack” for your Superbowl Party.  Superbowl Sunday (Number 43) is coming up on February 1, and my husband’s team is still in the running – the Pittsburgh Steelers.  They go up against the Ravens this weekend, so we’ll be cheering them on.  On the other side there’s the Arizona Cardinals vs Philadelphia Eagles.  I spent a couple of years in South Jersey before I moved away from home and the Eagles are the team for that area.  Mr H says that there’s a chance for two Pennsylvania teams to play against each other.  Me, I hope his team wins, but I’m not sure if I want the Eagles from my mom’s area, or to spread the enthusiasm out across the US.

Black Bean & Roasted Corn and Pineapple Mango Chipotle Salsa Images It doesn’t matter who wins (okay, it does), my husband and his brothers(he has 4) and his mom and some of the significant others – gather together and have a blast.  Plenty of beer flowing, food eating, yelling cheering, stomping and all around good brotherly fun.  Food eating is important, but it’s  gotta all be munchable.  You can’t do a Superbowl with a sit down at the table meal or who knows what you’d miss.  The favorite food to bring in this house is Salsa and Chips.  My husband is a tomato lover, a veggie lover and a really big salsa lover.  I swear we go through more than one jar of salsa a week – that means we probably use more than 100 jars of salsa in a year.  Besides my home made, Pace is our number one brand.  My first choice is the new  Black Bean and Roasted Corn Salsa.  It has a delicious smokey flavor and plenty of black beans and corn.  My daughter loved the new Pineapple Mango Chipotle Salsa so much she grabbed one for college.  The Picante is also a family favorite too.

I make this Cheesy Chicken Bean Queso all of the time.  Their Queso is the best, we put it on our hotdogs too. For more recipes go to the Pace recipe site.  You’re sure to find one that fits your families tastes.

Pace is going to help one person throw a Superbowl party with their “Pace Game Day Party Pack”.

Here’s what is included:

“We’re #1” foam fingers; squeezable footballs; tabletop football set; football balloons; referee drink holders; a copy of Pace’s 60th anniversary cook book; a Pace four-pack, including Pace Picante Sauce, Pace Thick & Chunky Salsa, and the two newest additions to the Pace lineup of specialty salsas, Pace Pineapple Mango Chipotle Salsa and Pace Black Bean & Roasted Corn Salsa.

The Rules (because Deb likes them):

1.Who you’re rooting for (pick one of the four teams)

2. Where you’ll watch the game

3.  What Pace Salsa you’d bring with you (look here for Pace Salsas)

1.  What you’ll do instead

2. Where you’ll do it

3. What Pace Salsa you’d bring with you.

Good Luck everyone and Thanks PACE!!

    1. I have no clue who is playing. LOL

    2. I am not really a fan of football, though I anticipate my little ones enjoying sports when they get older. Maybe I will turn the game on here at home to see what all the fuss is about.

    3. My FAVORITE salsa is the pineapple mango. I love a salsa with a sweet kick to it.

    You have my mouth watering!!

    Thanks for the great giveaway!!

As a Giants fan, I’m rooting for anyone who beats the Eagles (which means Arizona this weekend! lol). I’ll be cheering for the Ravens by order of my 11 year old daughter. She loves the Ravens. Has no clue who is on the team, but she likes the color purple, therefore, she is a Ravens’ fan.

The game will be at our home with about 15 friends and their kids.

My favorite salsa is one that I think they stopped making! :( It’s tequila lime and it’s a great salsa to use as marinade for grilled chicken and to use to baste on chicken on the grill. We also love Pace’s picante mild for most of the family, except our 13 year old son who likes HOT sauce.

Barbara McCrea on January 16, 2009 at 10:27 am

We throw a Superbowl party at our house every year, but the tv never gets turned on, and the Mexican four cheese salsa is the only way to go!

Well, since my Eagles just lost, I’ll be rooting for the Steelers to win the Superbowl. We’ll probably watch the big game at one of the neighbor’s houses, as we normally get together for it. And finally, I’ll surely be muching on some Black Bean with Roasted Corn salsa.

Janet on January 19, 2009 at 3:14 pm

We throw a Superbowl party at our house every year 4 our kids and grandkids, and the Mexican four cheese salsa is our favorite!

    Cheryl W on January 19, 2009 at 7:24 pm

I’m rooting for Arizona! Will watch at home with family and friends. We will serve Paso Mild Salsa, because a lot of my family doesn’t like spicy. Thanks!

    Michele H. on January 19, 2009 at 7:44 pm

I’m rooting for the Steelers! I’ll be watching at our local watering hole with other football fans. Everybody brings food so I’m bringing a crockpot full of white chicken chili, which I make with Pace Salsa Verde, A quart of White Northern Beans (drained), the meat pulled off a rotisserie chicken and helf a brick of Velveeta. I serve it with corn chips, shredded cheese and sour cream as toppers and EVERYBODY loves it. Couldn’t be easier! I just heat it on low for a couple of hours until the cheese is all melted in…everything’s already cooked, anyway.

I’m really not sure where I’ll be for the game yet, but probably at a friends house watching the game. I am really hoping the dolphins will be in the playoffs some year soon, but it’s not going to happen this year so I’ll just watch for fun, and I’ll be bringing the Pace original mild sauce for the game. I really like the classics!

Jason on January 20, 2009 at 2:44 am

I m rooting for the Cardinals. Larry Fitzgerald is from MN so it is always nice to see fellow Minnesotans have some good fortune. I am actually having a Super Bowl party at my house and I plan on getting a bunch of the pineapple mango salsa. This is a great giveaway

    1. What you’ll do instead:

While husby’s rootin’ for the Cards
    instead, what I will do
is wait until the ADS come on—
    (I think they’re BEST, don’t YOU?)

    2. Where you’ll do it:

Yep, I’ll be fiddlin’ in the kitchen
with chips and snacks and such
    then bring them in
    to watch the ads
    (and relish husby’s lovin’ touch!)

    3. What Pace Salsa you’d bring with you:

Since I’d RATHER be in the tropics
than watching tv in this wintry place,
    I’ll pretend I’m there
    eating Pineapple Mango
    Chipotle Salsa
    made by PACE!

    ; )

Chrysa on January 20, 2009 at 9:58 am

We’ll be rooting for the Steelers at home (my family is coming over). The black bean roasted corn salsa looks like it would be a big winner!

    Erica L on January 20, 2009 at 10:07 am

The Cardinals are the underdogs, right?
I’ll probably cheer for whoever the boss doesn’t cheer for, as we’ll be obligated to go to their party.
But some Pace hot thick & chunky, or that pineapple mango chipotle salsa, would make up for just about anything!

    CHARLENE S. on January 20, 2009 at 10:10 am

We are having a party with a variety of salsas (I prefer Picante) & snacks. I’ll be cheering on the Steelers :o)

I won’t be watching, but I will be helping with the snacks.

Most of my time will probably be in the kitchen or at the grocery store.

I’m a fan of Pace’s Picante Sauce (with medium hotness- I can never find anything above medium) 😀

1.Who you’re rooting for (pick one of the four teams)

    2. Where you’ll watch the game?
At home, we are hosting our first ever Super Bowl Sunday!!!

    3. What Pace Salsa you’d bring with you (look here for Pace Salsas)?
I am using Pace a few different ways. First will be just served beside chips as a dip, 2nd will be as a guacamole dip (3 avacados, 1 jar Thick and Chunky Pace, 1 package seasoning) as another dip, and for dinner we will be having “Do the Chicken Salsa” which is basically a chicken cordon bleu kind of recipe my family has changed up to include Pace Thick and Chunky in the center of the chicken instead of ham (it is soooo good and juicy).

    Goooooooooooo Steelersssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!

Reginald on January 20, 2009 at 7:23 pm

I’ll be AT THE GAME!!! I won tickets – which will show up Friday, so until then I don’t exactly what seat I’ll be in. I’m hoping Arizona will win and I’ll have to hope Pace is served at the stadium because you can’t bring in any food.

Veronica Garrett on January 20, 2009 at 9:49 pm

My husband will be working so he won’t get to watch the game. I will pack some pico De Gallo for his dinner. I am a fan of Pittsburgh but I love to root for the underdogs and I like Kurt Warner.

I hate sports on TV – too noisy. What I’ll do instead is watch a nice chick flick while I lay in bed with tortilla chips on my lap with Medium Pace Picante on it (mostly because that’s what’s in the house – I’ve never even heard of some of the flavors people are mentioning here).

Helen on January 21, 2009 at 8:31 am

The munchies! We love salsa and chips too. All kinds of dips, wings, sandwiches. We usually have a ton of food. I’ll be trying the Pace Pico DeGallo. Sound so good. Along with the Pineapple Mango, my mouth is watering now! Hope you have a great super Sunday. Thanks for the contest. It was fun reading the other comments!
