So without further ado -

Week 2 winner is: Carol who likes –the  Chicken, Gorgonzola and Pear Salad recipe.

Week 3 winner is:  Mary M who said – I use olive oil a lot for pasta & sautéing, but not really “in” a recipe. The Grilled Rosemary Shrimp & Pasta on their website sounds good.

This is your last chance to enter for a Star Extra Virgin Olive Oil Gift Pack.

Giveaway Rules for Nov 11th through Nov 16, 2009:

  1. Leave a comment telling us the name of your favorite Cookerati recipe that uses Extra Virgin Olive Oil (or should use Extra Virgin Olive Oil). Hint: Try the search at the top of the page if you need assistance.
  2. US residents only
  3. One comment per person
  4. Contest ends Midnight (EST) November 16th.

One extra entry (only one) can be gained by doing one of the following (let us know in the comments what you have done)

The Giveaway:

The prize is a complimentary gift pack from STAR® Fine Foods which includes a 17 oz. bottle of STAR® Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a “Taste of the Mediterranean” recipe book.

By the way – Star Fine Foods is still running their Flavors of the Mediterranean Recipe Contest. If you entered, tell us the name of your recipe in the comments (and whether or not you got a cruet) and you can have one more extra entry.

I would try the Fusilli with Leeks and Red Onions, but I am not sure how I would the leeks. I do know I love EVOO. I use it nearly every day.

I’d love to try the Purple (Cauliflower) Risotto. I think the purple cauliflower would make it look even more interesting, but it would be tasty even with white cauliflower. I just signed up for your newsletter – this looks like a great site.
