Our winters are too cold to grow it outside. My sister in law has a huge rosemary bush. When we visit, I get to bring some home to dry. My cats don't mess with it because I will mess with them if they get on top of the table. Squirt bottles aways at the ready here. I can only keep plants on the table or countertop because those are restricted areas. They own the windowsills. I love that I can just cut a piece off to throw in to the pot.
